Jordan Ayew Feels 'honoured' To Return For Ghana, Calm Ahead Of Egypt Showdown

Jordan Ayew is keen to deliver for Ghana against Egypt

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew feels 'honoured' to return to the Black Stars and insists he is not under pressure to deliver against Egypt in the 2014 World Cup playoffs on October 15.

The young Marseille attacker has been included in the final 25-man squad for the World Cup qualifier against the Pharaohs.

The 22-year-old returns to the team for the first time since missing out on the 2013 African Cup of Nations in January.

“It's great to be back for the national team. Everybody wants to play for their national team. It is an honour,” Ayew said

“I am not under any pressure. Not at all. I am coming back to give my 100% afterwards we'll see what God will do for me.

“We'll see how training goes and then we'll see what will happen. We have to be focus and give 100% and I'm sure there will not be any problem.”

The return fixture will take place on November 19 at the Air Defense stadium in the volatile North African country.
