Wassaman push for FA Cup progress

A difficult Premier League form has consigned them to the bottom of the table and they attempt to avoid relegation but Wassaman United are determined to go very far in the FA Cup competition.

The Tarkwa side will play Inter-Allies for a place in the quarter-finals of the Cup competition on Wednesday at the Tema Stadium.

For Wassaman, the FA Cup could be an avenue to draw inspiration from but they could be dealt a big blow by the Division One side, Inter-Allies.

The Tema Stadium recorded the competition's biggest upset on Saturday when Asante Kotoko were eliminated by second-tier side, Amidaus Professionals.

Certainly, Inter-Allies will be trying to follow suit to give Division One League clubs some hope in the competition.
