AshantiGold down Jets at home

After a long poor run, AshantiGold finally looked good at home when the defeated Mighty Jets 3-0 at the Len Clay Stadium.

A brace by Yakubu Mohammed gave the Miners a comfortable lead before Aminu Mohammed struck the third goal.

Yakubu scored in either half before Aminu found the back of the net in the 88th minute.

And the win lifts them way off the bottom three but Jets slip into the relegation zone.
