Fresh King arrives today

Come back IBF Bantamweight 'King Kong' Joseph Agbeko is expected to arrive home from the USA, where he won over undefeated Yonnhy Perez to reclaim his IBF title.

Mr. Eben Noye from the PR outfit of the champ told The Chronicle Sports  in a telephone interview that the personalities expected to meet the boxer are the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Akua Sena Dansua, Mr. Wolanyo Agra, National Sports Council boss, Professor Azumah Nelson, Ghana Amateur Boxing technical director, among other high profile dignitaries.

From the VVIP Lounge of the Kotoka International Airport where the boxer will brief the dignitaries and the media, he will embark on a float, then proceed to the Castle (yet to be confirmed) and later call on the National Chief Imam.

Mr. Noye noted that plans are underway for the boxer to meet with the media tomorrow at the Media Centre of the Ohene Djan Stadium for a press conference.
