Queens Coach Faces Sack

Florence Okoh, Captain of the Black Queens

icates that Anthony Edusei would likely be sacked as head coach of the women national soccer team, the Black Queens.

This follows the poor performance displayed by his charges during the ongoing Africa Women's Championship (AWC) in South Africa.

Ghana's Black Queens were eliminated from the tournament after winning only one out of the three matches played in the group stage.

DAILY GUIDE SPORTS gathered that some technical members of the team would also be asked to vacate their posts.

The Queens made a good start to the competition after fighting back to beat Algeria 2-1 in the opening group B match, but could not sustain their winning form, losing 1-2 to Cameroon and 1-3 to defending champions Equatorial Guinea.
