Kotoko striker to undergo op

Asante Kotoko striker Kwadwo Poku has been told he needs a surgey on his knee before he can make a return to full time action.

 
The player picked up the injured while on trials in Egypt and he is yet to play a match in the ongoing Glo Premier League.

 
Club doctors have confirmed the 27-year-old will need to go under the knife to rectify the nagging knee injury.

 
Poku was expecetd to return to first team action last two weeks but the latest news is a major set back for the player.

  Kotoko have struggled for form and goals this term and will be keen to see the former King Faisal forward return.
