Torres Ruled Out

Fernando Torres LIVERPOOL'S title challenge has taken another blow after Fernando Torres was ruled out of the match with Sunderland.

The Reds lost to Middlesbrough at the weekend and they will hope to get their season back on track tomorrow night.

Boss Rafa Benitez will have Steven Gerrard in his squad though after he recovered from a knock.

The Spanard said: "Stevie was okay and will hopefully be available tomorrow.

"Torres is not ready yet. We have to wait to see how he progresses but he won't be in the squad.

"Arbeloa has a problem with his hamstring. He's had the problem before. It could be another week."
