Lucky Diamonds beat Simple Stars

Akotuakrom Lucky Diamonds beat Akwamu Simple Stars 2-1 in a friendly encounter over the weekend at the C.Y.O Park at Adoagyiri, near Nsawam.

Centre forward Yaw Sakyi opened the scores for Lucky Stars on 44 minutes from a goal mouth action before Obiri Kwame levelled up for the visitors 12 minutes later through a free-kick.

Joe Lewis scored the match winner for Lucky Diamonds with a 77th minute effort to send fans wild.
