Opeele joins Ghanasoccernet

OPEELE IS MOST POPULAR COACH IN GHANA Ghana's equivalent of Jose Mourinho, Isaac "Opeele" Boateng, has signed up as a columnist for Ghanasoccernet.com beginning next week.

The foul-mouthed Tema Youth boss has been controversial in the Premier League since moving from Kessben Football Club to aid the Tema-based side escape relegation.

Opeele has the guts to criticize anybody in Ghana football without fear or favour. He also writes in the stated-owned sports newspaper, Graphic Sports.

He was recently pillored in some corners after telling assistant Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah, to accept the US$ 3,000 offered by the Football Association or quit his post.

Appiah was agitating for US$ 6,000 before signing a one-year deal as second-in-command to head coach Milovan Rajevac.

Opeele picked his best XI after the just concluded season and controversially left out Asante Kotoko's Eric Bekoe out of the squad.

He also nominated Zaytuna United coach Fadi Omari as the best coach although his side were relegated-(They are still contesting their relegation at the courts)

Opeele holds a British coaching (FAI Uefa"B") certificate and came into the spotlight after guiding Division One side Mighty Jets unbeaten in the group stages in 2007 but left.

He joined Sekondi Hasaacas as assistant coach and moved to the then newly-promoted side Kessben FC last term.
