Rajevac confident of win

MILO STILL REMAINS UPBEAT Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is confident the Black Stars will beat Lesotho and qualify for the second phase of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

The Serbian trainer's side must win the Group Five game in Sekondi on Saturday and hope that the group's other game goes their way to be assured of an automatic place in the last round of qualifiers.

The 2006 World Cup finalists have been unconvincing since the start of the qualifiers but Rajevac says the Black Stars have turned a corner.

"I have seen massive improvements since the team gathered for Saturday's game and that will show during the game," Rajevac told Ghanasoccernet.

"We have gone through everything with the players and I am sure we will deliver. They know what is at stake for the country and even their careers so they will give off their best.

"We want the support and prayer of Ghanaians for the game so that at the end of we can all share in the the joy."

Group leaders Libya, who 12 points take on second-placed Gabon in Libreville on Saturday, must avoid defeat to be assured of an automatic place in the second phase of the qualifiers.
