Super agent Zahavi targets Ghana

The most influential football agent in the world Pini Zahavi will arrive in Ghana in two weeks' time to explore opportunities of working with AshantiGold.

This follows following Thursday's takeover of the mining club by a Herbert Mensah-led consortium Fortia.

Zahadi has masterminded some renowned football deals notably, Roman Abramovich's take-over of Chelsea and the signings brought to Stamford Bridge.

Herbert Mensah believes the working relationship with Zahavi can help transfer Ghanaian players to top-notch sides in the world instead of the recent obscure destinations for some Ghanaian players.

  The Israeli's immediate task is to work in tandem with the AshantiGold Academy scout for talents in the West Africa sub-region for clubs in the world.
