Etoile official jailed three-days
An official of Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel, has been slapped with a three-day prison sentence after a Kumasi High Court charged him for assaulting a policeman during Saturday's Confederation Cup tie against Kotoko.
Team masseur, Anis Bin Ayid, pleaded not guilty for slapping a policeman on duty at the Baba Yara Stadium.
He will spend the next three-days in Ghana after his team celebrated a vital 2-2 draw.
This is the first time an official has been trialed outside his country for misconduct in a football match.
Meanwhile,Caf is yet to come out with the verdict on the irate Kotoko fans who attacked referee Coffi Codja.
