Kotoko drawn with Al Ittihad

Ghana's league leaders and Confederation Cup contenders, Asante Kotoko will have to skip past Libyan side, Al Ittihad in the fourth round fixtures of the competition, before the prospect of reaching the group stage becomes a reality.

The draw for the fourth round were conducted by the Confederation of African Football on Saturday in Yaounde.

Kotoko would line up against the Libyan side in the first leg away to Ittihad on the weekend of July 11-13 before hosting their fourth round opponents in the return leg on July 25-27 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The winners of the two-leg tie advance to the group phase of the competition, which starts in August.

The Porcupine Warriors, defeated finalist in the maiden competition in 2005 reached the fourth round after edging out Nigeria's Dolphins.
