Illiasu fit for Nasr test

Ghana defender Shilla Illiasu has passed his medical test at the team's pre-African Cup of Nations trainning camp in Abu Dhabi.

The central defender is likely to used in the team's warm-up game against local side Al Nasr club on Wednesday.

Illiasu's fitness has worrying for the Black Stars medical team but Magnetic Resonance Imaging scans on his ankle cleared the player fit to play in the tournament.
'' The team is relieved to see him cleared to play. He began by training alone but he is improved to play tomorrow,'' team doctor Martin Engmann told Ghanasoccernet

He brings to two the number of Black Stars players to have made quick recovery for the Nations Cup after Laryea Kingson.

The Russia-based player has not kicked a ball in two-months and only began training with his colleagues on Sunday.
