TAIWO KEEN TO STAY AT MARSEILLE

Nigeria defender Taye Taiwo insists he does not want to leave French side Marseille, despite interest from some English clubs.The 22-year-old was reported to have been in contact with Premiership side Portsmouth to discuss a possible transfer.

But the powerful left-back is determined to stay at Marseille and has dismissed talk of a move in June.
"People talk about my future but they don't know anything," he told La Provence.

"I feel good with Marseille. I don't know why I would leave next season. There are so many things to do here."

Taiwo has scored three times in 34 league appearances this season
