Kotoko close in at the top

A 34th minute strike by Douglas Nkrumah helps Asante Kotoko secure a 1-0 win over All Blacks and narrow the gap at the top to four points.

Kotoko thus end the unbeaten home run by the Black Magicians this season.

The Porcupine Warriors who are seeking a successful title defence had a goal by Emmanuel Osei Kuffour disallowed in the first half.

But Kotoko kept on pushing for the opener as Douglas Nkrumah finished off a move between Osei Kuffour and Stephen Oduro in the 34th minute.

All Blacks had attacker, Bismark Idan sent off for a picking up second yellow card in the closing minutes of the game.
