Ghana’s Derrick Kohn touches down in Turkey, set to seal exciting move to Galatasaray

German-born Ghanaian defender, Derrick Kohn, has made his way to Turkey in anticipation of completing a noteworthy transfer to Galatasaray during the winter transfer window.

The 25-year-old footballer has successfully reached personal terms with Galatasaray, with negotiations between the Turkish giants and Hannover 96 nearing their final stages.

Pending a successful medical examination, Kohn is poised to sign a long-term deal with Galatasaray after his early arrival in Turkey on Thursday morning.

Hailing from the Bundesliga II with Hannover, the former Bayern Munich II player has displayed impressive form, contributing three goals and providing six assists in 20 matches.

Despite attracting interest from Italian side Torino, Kohn opted for a move to Galatasaray, adding further excitement to the Turkish football scene.

While having previously represented Germany at youth levels, Derrick Kohn remains eligible to wear the jersey of Ghana's national football team, the Black Stars.

Having experienced stints with Hamburg in the Bundesliga II and Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie, Kohn brings a wealth of experience to Galatasaray as he embarks on this new chapter in his football career.
