Gunners gun down Miners
AshantiGold's title ambitions were dealt a major blow at the Golden City park where they lost 2-0 to Berekum Arsenals on Sunday.
The Miners, after a rather good start to the title campaign have gradually seen their hopes of topping the standings whittle away.
Arsenals lost heavily in the corresponding fixture as they were thrashed 5-2 by the Miners at the Len Clay stadium but were up to the test this time round with the 2-0 victory.
AshantiGold are still fourth on the table as they are drawn on level points with the Gunners but with a better goal difference.
With five games to end the season, the Miners are still contenders for the title though some eight points separate them from leaders, Accra Hearts of Oak.
