Kotoko's anniversary plans on hold

Kumasi Asante Kotoko are expected to take a firm decision, Wednesday on whether they will play rivals Hearts of Oak outside Ghana.

The friendly encounter scheduled for the Italian city of Vicenza in Italy forms part of celebrations to mark Ghana's half century programme after independence.

Earlier this week, officials of the Porcupine Warriors pulled out of the March 3 encounter citing ill preparations.

However, after a series of negotiations and meetings, Kotoko are likely rescind their decision according to organisers of the game.
