Two-time Black Stars head coach Milovan Rajevac advises Ghana ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cup

Former head coach of the Black Stars, Milovan Rajevac has advised Ghana to approach the game against Uruguay at the 2022 FIFA World Cup with the mentality to record a win and not necessarily to revenge the pain from the 2010 mundial.

Speaking to Akoma FM in an interview, the two-time Ghana national team head coach stressed that he is confident the Black Stars have enough quality to advance past the group stage.

He however stressed that the national team must put in a lot of work to make that happen.

“The group is very strong. Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay are very strong teams and Ghana has to go the extra mile to qualify for the next round. In 2010, the situation was pretty similar, the group was strong, but Ghana managed to cope with all the challenges and make historical success,” coach Milovan Rajevac indicated.

He continued, “Unity of the team is the crucial aspect for achieving great things. Ghana has the talent and the passion, I'm sure that every player, coach, and official will do their best to make Ghana proud.”

The Black Stars are in Group H of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Black Stars will play the first match at the tournament on November 24 in a clash against European giant Portugal.
