YPG games on Saturday

The Young People's Guild (YPG) of the Ga Presbytery annual fun games would be held at the El-Wak Sports Stadium in Accra on Saturday, May 24.

A spokesman for the Church, who announced this in Accra on Tuesday, said all the 22 districts of the Church will take part in the one-day games, which is aimed at strengthening the already existing relationship among the districts.

He named some of the games as soccer, volleyball, ludo, oware and draught.

Meanwhile, Rotary Club of Accra West charity golf competition, tees off at the Tema Country Golf Course on Saturday, May 24.

About 150 golfers throughout the country are expected to participate in the event which is dubbed "Swing for a Child".

Proceeds from the competition, which is being jointly sponsored by La Beach Hotel, Golden Beach Hotels and a number of restaurants in Accra, would be donated to charitable institutions.
