Ghana Invited To Malaysia International Walk

Ghana has been invited to the 2nd Malaysia International 24 hour Walk to be held at the Outdoor Theme Park, Genting City of Entertainment in Malaysia. According to the invitation, the competition kick-starts from August 4 to 5, 2003 and being organized by the Race Walkers Association of Malaysia

According to Secretary Booba Clottey, Ghana’s selection for the competition will be based on two separate competitions. The first will be the Accra-Koforidua Walk and the second being Takoradi-Cape Coast-Accra Walk.

As a matter of interest, these two key competitions will take place by the end of June. Those to be selected will be provided with free air tickets to Malaysia and will qualify to vie for cash prizes at stake ranging from $1500 downwards, as well as other attractive prizes.
