GFA president Kurt Okraku backs new Black Stars technical team to succeed

The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt E.S Okraku says he is confident the new Black Stars technical team will succeed.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, the Ghana FA at a press conference at its secretariat announced that it has appointed Serbian tactician Milovan Rajevac as the new head coach of the Black Stars.

In addition, the association has confirmed that Ghanaian tacticians Maxwell Konadu and Otto Addo have been appointed as the two assistant coaches to deputize the new gaffer.

Speaking at the press conference, Kurt Okraku has emphasized that he has no doubt the new set of coaches can succeed.

“With his experience, I think the committee has done a good job. With, Maxwell Konadu with Milo, we believe our Black stars will go places.

“Otto Addo is the second coach. With his experience with Dortmund, we believe he can deliver,” the GFA president said.

Coach Milovan Rajevac has signed a one-year contract that will be renewable if the Black Stars qualify for the World Cup.

He will be paid a monthly salary of $30,000.
