Kwame Peprah confirms Hearts of Oak approach last season

King Faisal FC striker, Kwame Peprah has confirmed there were transfer talks between him and Hearts of Oak in the middle of the season but things fell through.

The bulky forward grabbed the headlines in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.

Peprah played a vital role in King Faisal's survival in the topflight.

The enterprising forward scored 12 goals providing 10 assists making him the second-highest scorer and assister in the just-ended season.

According to him his representatives had begun negotiations with the current Ghanaian champions for a possible move but the 'Phobians couldn't meet their requirement, the main reason the deal wasn't fruitful.

"My representatives and King Faisal officials held talks with Accra Hearts of Oak but they were not able to meet the terms given them and that's why the deal couldn't succeed," he told Kumasi based Nhyira FM.

Kwame Pepeah just recently has had two offers with King Faisal rejecting all those two bids, a bumper deal of €400,000 from a certain Algerian club and an €85,000 move from North Macedonian outfit FC Shkupi 1927.
