Ex-Hearts of Oak defender Sam Johnson praises Samuel Boadu's attacking football

Former Hearts of Oak defender, Sam Johnson has heaped praises on coach Samuel Boadu for his attacking class of football.

The Phobains have been impressive under Boadu recording two wins, scoring six goals in the process and are yet to concede.

Reacting to Sunday’s 2-0 victory against Aduana Stars in the matchday 18 game, the former Ghana international said the new class is best suited for a club like Hearts of Oak.

“The players are playing more aggressive and they always play attacking football,” he told Kumasi based Kessben FM. "That is a good thing.

"Playing more attacking and organise the defence always put pressure on the opponent And that is good.

"As a team like Accra Hearts of Oak is a big club and doesn’t have to defend, they need to play attacking and he (Samuel Boadu) is doing that and it is working well for him," he added.

Hearts of Oak sit 3rd on the league log with 30 points.

The Phobians will be hosted Ashgold in the matchday 19 fixtures at the Len Clay Stadium this weekend.
