Elmina Sharks management on the hunt for a new head coach after exit of Yaw Acheampong

The management of Elmina Sharks has commenced the processes to appoint a new head coach following the exit of coach Yaw Acheampong and his assistants.

The club after weeks of speculation has today confirmed that they have parted ways with the head coach, his assistant, as well as the goalkeeper’s trainer although no reason is cited.

“Elmina Sharks has parted ways with its Head coach Yaw Acheampong, Felix Aboagye his assistant as well as Nana Mbrah the goalkeeper's trainer,” part of a release from the club announced on Thursday.

While the club thanks the coaches for their services during their stay, they say management will soon appoint their replacements.

“The management will announce their replacements in due course,” the release from Elmina Sharks read.

Coach Yaw Acheampong has become the 11th manager to leave a club in the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
