Cagliari coach confirms Alfred Duncan's arrival from Fiorentina

Cagliari manager, Eusebio Di Francesco has confirmed the arrival of Alfred Duncan to the club.

The Ghana international is joining the Cagliari on loan from AFC Fiorentina.

Duncan left the training grounds of La Viola on Friday morning to complete his mandatory medicals ahead of the of his loan move.

Duncan has featured in four league games for the Stadio Artemio Franchi outfit in the ongoing Serie A campaign.

The deal involves an option to buy in a deal worth 13million euros at the end of the season.

"I can say he is a very welcome player," the manager said.

"I hope to retrain him soon," he added.
The 27-year-old midfielder will link up with former coach Eusebio Di Francesco, who trained him for two seasons at US Sassuolo.

Duncan will team up with his new teammates on Monday.

Duncan has played 13 matches for the Viola, scoring a goal and adding an assist.

The Ghanaian has been capped nine times by his country.
