President Akufo Addo Commissions New Astroturf In Takoradi

President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has commissioned the newly built Sekondi Methodist Astroturf Park in the Effia Constituency.

The project, which was constructed by Wembley Sports Construction, becomes the newest addition to government’s ‘one constituency one Astroturf’ programme which also has edifices in Madina, Kyebi, Walewale and Kumasi.

The facility was solely financed by Ghana Gas.
The newly commissioned pitch form part of government’s efforts to improve sports infrastructure in the country.

The new edifice can boast of a panel mesh fencing, washrooms, floodlights, goal posts, and reserve stands.
