Ghana Premier League: Wasteful Dreams FC Draw Goalless With Inter Allies FC

Despite dominating play at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday evening, Dreams FC failed to equalize and had to settle for a draw with Inter Allies in a Matchday 1 fixture of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League.

The Dawu-based club visited Accra today to honour a date with the Capelli Boys to kick off their campaign in the new football season.

In a first half that saw both teams creating multiple goal-scoring chances, neither could find the back of the net and went into the break on level pegging.

After recess, Dreams FC dominated play after making the quality in the squad count. New signing Joseph Esso had two clear-cut opportunities but squandered them all.

Later on, substitute Abel Manomey was also presented with a fine chance in the Inter Allies area. Unfortunately, he also didn’t have his scoring boots on and fired wide.

In the end, Inter Allies FC held on and earned a point on the back of a goalless draw.
