CAF Appoints Senegalese Referee Maguette Ndiaye To Officiate Ghana v Sudan AFCON Qualifier

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Senegalese Referee Maguette Ndiaye to officiate Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Sudan next month.

Nicknamed the Black Stars, the team will face off with its counterpart from Sudan in a third Group C game of the qualifiers to the next AFCON tournament.

Ahead of the game scheduled to be played at the Cape Coast stadium on Thursday, November 12, 2020, CAF has appointed the Match Officials.

Top Senegalese referee Maguette Ndiaye will be in the middle of the Park with assistance from compatriots El Hadji Malick Samba (Assistant 1), Serigne Cheikh Toure (Assistant II).

Dauda Gueye of Senegal will play the role of the fourth official while Sanusi Mohammed from Nigeria acts as the Match Commissioner.

Ghana already has 2 wins from 2 matches in the AFCON qualifiers and will hope to overcome the Sudanese opponent to stay top of Group C.

The game will kick off at 16:00GMT.
