Thomas Partey In Arsenal’s Starting Lineup To Face Rapid Vienna

Midfielder Thomas Partey has been named in the Arsenal starting eleven that will be facing Rapid Vienna in the Uefa Europa League this evening.

The Ghana international joined the English Premier League outfit from Atletico Madrid on transfer deadline day after the Gunners paid his release clause of 45 million pounds.

Last Saturday, Thomas Partey made his debut for Arsenal as a substitute in the titanic clash against Manchester City at the Etihad.

Today, the highly-rated midfielder is set to make his first start for his new club in the game against the European club competition opponent, Rapid Vienna.

Partey will partner Elneny in midfield and will be expected to dictate play for the Gunners in a game that will kick off at 16:55GMT.

Meanwhile, Alexander Lacazette will be captaining Arsenal this evening while Leno returns in post.
