CK Akonnor Extend Solidarity Message To Black Stars Players Infected With Covid-19

The Ghana national team head coach, CK Akonnor has penned a message of solidarity to the Black Stars players who have tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

At the end of the October international break, 6 of the players who were invited for Ghana’s friendly matches against Mali and Qatar have tested positive for the deadly disease after returning to their clubs.

Reacting to the news today, Coach CK Akonnor says he wishes all the players a speedy recovery.

“Speedy recovery to all the players who have tested positive for coronavirus. Stay strong and come back stronger”, the Ghana head coach posted on his Twitter page.

He continued, “Let’s continue to adhere to all the safety protocols. Stay safe”.

The Ghana players who have tested positive for the Coronavirus include Jordan Ayew, Joseph Aidoo, Gideon Mensah, Caleb Ekuban, Kassim Adams, and Bernard Mensah.
