Swansea’s Andre Ayew Named In Championship ToTW After Starring In Victory At Wycombe

Ghana forward, Andre Dede Ayew has been named in the EFL Championship ‘Team of the Week’ following his outstanding display for Swansea City in the team’s 2-0 win against Wycombe Wanderers FC over the weekend.

The experienced attacker earned a starting role for his team on Saturday afternoon when they visited the Adams Park Stadium to take on the newly-promoted side on Matchday 3 of the ongoing season.

Ayew had an excellent game and finished with his first goal of the campaign as well as an assist for new signing Jamal Lowe.

First, the Ghana captain connected to a sweet cross from Jake Bidwell to put Swansea City into the lead after 13 minutes of play before setting up the equalizer for the new forward 10 minutes later.

Having starred throughout his stay on the pitch on the Matchday, Andre Ayew has now been named in the EFL Championship ‘Team of the Week’.
