Midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey

Midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has described his Black Stars call-up as an honour while indicating that it has been his dream since a young age.

The former Dreams FC midfielder is currently playing his football in France with Ligue 2 outfit Amiens SC.

Last Friday when Ghana senior national team head coach C.K Akonnor was naming his squad for the upcoming Mali friendly match, he included Emmanuel Lomotey.

Reacting to what is his maiden call-up to the Black Stars team, the delighted midfielder has noted that he is honoured and grateful.

“Always been a great opportunity to serve in the national colours but doing so at the highest level (senior national team) is every boy’s dream.

“Honoured & Grateful”, Lomotey posted on his Twitter page.

The 22-year old has in the past played for the Black Stars B team as well as the Ghana U-23 team.

He will hope to get the opportunity to play for the Black Stars team in Turkey next month when they face off with West African counterpart Mali.
