Hearts Of Oak Players Start Gym Work Ahead Of New Season

Hearts of Oak players have commenced gym work to build on their fitness ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 football season.

Just last Sunday, the President of the Republic, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo announced that the restrictions on football have been lifted to allow the Ghana Premier League and the National Division One League to start.

While clubs are gearing up to return to training to prepare for the upcoming football season, Hearts of Oak has decided to start with gym work.

On Thursday, a section of the playing body was at the Koflex Gym to engage in intensive gym work to build on their fitness.

The players present trained under the supervision of team manager Nii Saban Quaye while observing the Covid-19 safety measures, particularly the social distancing protocol.

Players are expected to continue with the gym work for the next few days before starting fieldwork sometime next week when they all get tested for the Coronavirus disease.
