Kotoko Supporters Chairman For Circle 8 Suspended Over Unacceptable Comments On Radio

The chairman of Circle 8 of Asante Kotoko’s Greater Accra Regional Circles Council (GARCC), Mr. Agyemang Prempeh has been suspended for his unacceptable comments made against the board and CEO.

“The Greater Accra Regional Circles Council (GARCC) has suspended Mr. Agyemang Prempeh, the chairman for circle Eight (8) Accra Newtown with immediate effect”, a press release from the GARCC has said.

The statement further explains, “The decision was arrived at yesterday during council's meeting held at Adabraka Old Timers Spot in Accra for his unfortunate, unpalatable and unacceptable comments made against the board, CEO, and our dear club Asante Kotoko on Accra based radio station Asempa FM and Kumasi based radio station Ashh FM”.

Meanwhile, the GARCC has also withdrawn Mr. Agyemang Prempeh from his position as a member of the supporters’ group disciplinary committee.

The Group through the press release has urged the media to only engage members of the communications team for any interviews and inquiries.
