Nana Yaw Amponsah Begins Work Today As New Kotoko CEO

Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah officially begins work today, Monday, August 10, 2020, at the club’s secretariat at Odeneho Kwadaso, Kumasi.

The fast-rising football administrator will manage the day-to-day activities of the Ghana Premier League giants for the next three years and will report to the Board of Directors led by Dr Kwame Kyei.

Nana Yaw Amponsah was named the CEO of Kotoko on Friday, August 7, 2020, by the 12 member Board of Directors of the club at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi.

The 2019 Ghana Football Association presidential candidate is also expected to advise the club whether to compete in the CAF Champions League next season.

He succeeded George Board Member, Joseph Yaw Adu who was acting as the CEO after the departure of Amoako whose mandate as Kotoko CEO ended few months ago.

Nana Yaw Amponsah has already pledged to revive the club and make the club participate in the FIFA Club World Cup.
