I Will Be Disappointed Should GFA Appoint Expatriate As Technical Director - Ebusua Dwarfs Coach

Ebusua Dwarfs head trainer, Ernest Thompson Quartey says he will be disappointed should the Ghana Football Association appoint an expatriate as the new technical director.

The technical directorship role has been vacant following the exit of Francis Oti Akenteng in March.

The FA have already shortlisted six candidates for the job, three local coaches and three expatriates.

However, reports have strongly emerged that the country's football governing body will name an expatriate as teh new technical director.

Reacting to such rumours, Ernest Thompson Quartey says he will be disappointed should the FA named an expatriate for the job.

“I will be disappointed in the GFA if truly they appoint a foreign coach as a technical director. I don’t see those coaches achieving anything when they come. All the titles were won by our local-based coaches,” he told Otec FM.

“We have everything that it takes to hold those positions.

"I will be very much surprised and angry if the GFA continues to appoint a white man as a technical director” he ended.
