Thomas Partey Impress For Atletico Madrid In Draw Against Real Sociedad
Ghana international Thomas Partey impressed for his Atletico Madrid outfit on the final day of the Spanish La Liga campaign today when they played a 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad.
Having established himself as a key asset for the Rojiblancos throughout the season, the midfield powerhouse was named in the starting lineup of Diego Simeone this evening.
The Arsenal target as expected displayed fine form and contributed immensely to his team. After 30 minutes of play, Koke scored to hand Atletico Madrid the lead with an assist from Alvaro Morata.
Thomas Partey continued to boss the midfield for his team before he was substituted in the second half on the 56th minute.
Despite playing so well, a resilient performance from Real Sociedad in the final 10 minutes saw them draw level courtesy a strike from Adnan Januzaj.
Partey, 27, has finished the Spanish La Liga season with 3 goals after making as many as 35 appearances in the division.
