Kotoko’s Secretariat To Get New High-Tech Equipment

Asante Kotoko Acting CEO Mr. Joseph Yaw Adu

Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Mr. Joseph Yaw Adu has revealed plans to secure high-tech equipment for the secretariat of the club in Kumasi.

Mr. Yaw Adu who is a member of the newly constituted board of the Ghana Premier League record-holders is leading a 5-member Interim Management Committee until a new CEO is appointed.

After starting work at the Club’s Secretariat last week, the former Director of Sports for KNUST has revealed that one of the challenges workers are faced with is the lack of modern equipment.

“The staff are also telling me most of the machines that they are using are not in good shape and they are not serviceable. So I have requested that they put all this requested together so that I forward it to the board for us to acquire new machines to run the club because we are in a modern world”, Mr. Joseph Yaw Adu told the Kotoko Express.

The Asante Kotoko board member added, “It is not like the olden days, we have to go high tech. We need all these things so I will recommend and request the board to assist in acquiring all these things for the running of the office”.

Just last weekend, Mr. Joseph Yaw Adu had Zoomlion fumigating the entire building of the Kotoko secretariat in a bid to ensure staff and visitors are protected from the Coronavirus disease.

He has given an indication of improving the conditions at the Secretariat to match the status of the Porcupine Warriors club.
