Kurt Okraku Set To Address Public On Puma’s Financial Package Reduction

The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeone Okraku will address the public in the next week or two on Puma’s decision to reduce its financial package to the country.

The German kit manufacturer has been sponsors of the Ghana FA providing kits for the various national teams and also providing financial package amongst other things.

As reported earlier today, Puma has taken the decision to reduce its financial package to the GFA by 30% due to the effect the Number 12 video by the Anas investigative video has had on the association.

In an interview with Fox FM today, Henry Asante Twum who is the Communications Director for the Ghana FA has shared that there will be a reaction from the head of the association in the coming weeks.

“The Anas expose has reduced our brand as a nation. Within the next week or two, the GFA president will address us”, he said.

Henry Asante Twum added, “GFA needs Puma's permission before we can address the public on the 30% reduction of the deal”.
