Adapt NDC’s alternative COVID-19 proposals — Vincent Djokoto
In an interview with Accra Free Press, Vincent Djokoto, Business Executive and Columnist, has called on government to abandon partisan bias in the face of a common threat of COVID-19.
He has urged government to further adapt the proposals outlined by former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC COVID-19 team.
Djokoto’s remarks come as NPP government officials clash with elements of the opposition and civil society disturbed about the coronavirus response.
Ghana now has 2,169 confirmed cases, 18 deaths and 229 recoveries. The Jubilee House hasn’t disclosed whether these figures will be better or worse over the coming weeks.
“We rise or fall together. Government should take JDM's advice; it'll help avert the escalation of COVID-19 in Ghana. Let’s not forget how little our political affiliations matter in this struggle,” Djokoto said.
