Onuador Medical Vans Cannot Even Carry A Dead Goat--Abronye

Abronye DC, Kwame Baffoe, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, has discredited mobile clinic vans purchased by Mahama’s administration saying they are totally 'Useless'.

He went on to add that the mobile clinic vans cannot even carry a 'dead goat'

The clinic vans were delivered under the National Medical Equipment Replacement Project by Belstar Development Corporation, which comes in four configurations comprising general medicine, ophthalmology, dentistry, and audiology or hearing assessment to cater for general medical services in some areas in Ghana.

It is believed the mobile-vans were registered in the year 2014, and the then NDC government, was in the process of sourcing funds for the operations of the vans before it exited office in 2016.

The Minority in Parliament has meanwhile charged the government to immediately deploy the 8 mobile clinic vans procured under the NDC administration.

Ranking member on Parliament’s Health Committee, Hon Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, disclosed that the vans are rotting away at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, whilst healthcare delivery in rural areas remains poor.

Speaking on UTV’s Late News panel discussion, the NPP communicator pointed out that former President Mahama’s needs not to be making noise again for any comeback due to some of the decisions he took as a leader, which never benefitted the nation in any form.

“NDC, together with their leader, former President Mahama should only be listened to with the back of our heads, because they have nothing positive in mind to offer Ghanaians. Mahama’s ambulances are not fit to the extent that it could not even carry a dead goat,” he said.
