The Huge Potential Of Ghana's Humble Coconut Fruit: Kofi Boakye-Yiadom - Wu Ye Bue!

Kofi Boakye-Yiadom, with innovative green entrepreneurs like you, Mother Ghana's future is secure. Definitely. Yes, you are right, the humble coconut could transform our society into a very prosperous one. Not many in Ghana realise that - but you do. There is no earthly reason why Ghana should be a nation drowning in debt. Yet, today's politicians are mortgaging the future of our younger generations. And it is all so needless.

That is why some of us despise most Ghanaian politicians - many of them brain-dead-thickos-and-dickheads whose only concern is strategising to send their net worth to stratospheric heights by stealth: with a complicit media in their deep pockets, and on their secret-off-ledger-payrolls.

Politicians ought to be spreading hope, not endless gloom across Ghana. The transformation of our country can be completed by 2024 - using green industrialisation initiatives such as the ecocopallet and ecocoboard that you alluded to in your Facebook post on the enormous potential of the humble coconut as an anchor for rural wealth creation and job creation. And it will made possible by a new generation of green entrepreneurs following in the footsteps of today's green entrepreneurs such as yourself.

Personally, I support President Akufo-Addo 100 percent, because unlike most of today's politicians, he is a genuinely selfless and visionary leader cast in the Nkrumah-mould. However, I loathe the very, very corrupt and morally bankrupt political party, which he leads, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as much as I do the cynical opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

To quote an old wag I know: "Kofi, to be brutally frank, both parties that make up the NPP/NDC duopoly, are, in a sense, criminal organisations engaged in money laundering, racketeering and extortion. The only difference is that whiles the NDC genuinely embraces all ethnic groupings, the NPP on the other hand, acrually has a top-secret Akan tribal-supremacist agenda at its core.

Massa, I am an Akan. I know what I am talking about when I say that, Kofi. It so happens that at a certain stage of my life, most of the major figures of our post-Nkrumah history used to visit our home. Some of them said things to my hearing (in dinner table conversations and during late night Telefunken radio conversations), which stunned and shocked me, a precocious 12-year old boy, who had attended boarding school at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Primary School virtually all his childhood, and had just entered Prempeh College as a stubborn teenager who resisted being 'homoed' by his seniors.

Finally, Kofi, for Mother Ghana's sake we must all support President Akufo-Addo. The humble coconut can indeed be used to make our country strong economically - and in so doing, transform Ghanaian society into a very, very prosperous one, in which all who are willing to work hard, can get jobs and will not be left behind socially.
