Oti rues Tagoe absence

New Hearts of Oak coach, Francis Oti Akenteng says the absence of striker Prince Tagoe will be a huge loss to the team in the coming season.

Tagoe who top scored in last season's premier league campaign with 18 goals has signed with Asian club champions Al-Ittihad.

Oti Akenteng lamented the loss of the lanky goal scorer whom he had hoped to weave his attack on.

However the ex-King Faisal coach insists the team has to learn to live on without Tagoe.

“I must admit that I would miss the services of Tagoe.

“I would have loved to have met him so that atleast, I could also! have made use of him.

“But unfortunately he's gone and we have to give chance to the new boys coming up,” Oti told Joy Sports.

The Phobians play Liberty Professionals at the Dansoman Park this weekend.

Hearts have had to cancel their travel plans to Gambia for the champions league qualifier against Wallidan fc next weekend after the Gambians withdrew from the competition.
