Government remains committed to delivering quality Education - Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi

The Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency of the Western Region, Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi has inaugurated a 2 – unit kindergarten block in Petepom a farming community in her constituency.

The Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency has re-emphasized government’s commitment to improving education delivery at all levels for the benefit of the youth hence its effort to put up school blocks and provide basic amenities across the country.

Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi said this during the inauguration of a 1 number 2 unit Kindergarten block at Petepom, a farming community in the constituency where traditional rulers, government officials as well as a cross section of the public were present. The inauguration of this kindergarten block forms part of her campaign pledge to support and improve effective teaching and learning in the schools and also provide teachers with the needed materials that improve the teaching and learning in her constituency.

At a colourful ceremony for the presentation in Petepom, Lawyer Oteng-Gyasi reaffirmed the vision of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to make education a priority. The Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources further advised the chiefs, teachers and pupils to make good use of the facility and ensure to it that the structures, books and facilities are properly managed.
