Osafo Maafo Mourns Late Former Vice President

Mr Yaw Osafo Maafo, the Senior Minister, on Thursday, led a delegation of Ministers to pay their last respect to the late former Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.

Other members of the Senior Minister's entourage included Mr John Kwadwo Alan Keremanten, Minister of Trade and Industry; Hajia Alimah Mahama, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development; and Madam Otiko Afisah Djaba, Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection.

The late former Vice President's mortal remains is lying-in-state at the foyer of the Accra International Conference Centre for public viewing.

The late Amissah-Arthur died on Friday 29th June, 2018

His funeral service would be held on Friday, July 27, from 0900 hours to 1200 mid-day at the main auditorium of the Accra International Conference Centre.

This would be followed by internment at the new Military Cemetery at Burma Camp.
