One Shot Dead And Two Injured In Alavanyo Deme In The Volta Region*

A woman in her late forty's Madam Rejoice Atayao has been shot dead and other two injured in ALAVANYO Deme in the Volta Region on Monday 14th May 2018 when she was returning from her farm.

It is currently not clear if the incident has a connection with the over 100 years land dispute that has beleaguered ALAVANYO and Nkonya communities.

The police have since begun an investigation into the matter and have called for calms in the community.
