NSS Riddled With More Corruption While Management Misleads Public

The incredible organized rot in the National Service Secretariat is taking a new dimension as poor prospective personnel are now being milked through a carefully planned network of miscreants deployed by top guns in the Secretariat.

Recently there were allegations of the sale of PIN codes for the 2018/2019 service year in the Northern region at a fee of Five Hundred Cedis (GH¢500.00) per code to unqualified people. This is illegal, irregular and inappropriate. We tried to get concrete evidence beyond the speculations without success until currently where we have now gotten a lead.

The posting of nurses for national service currently ongoing revealed the modus operandi of the miscreants. The contact details of the prospective nurses have been released to the syndicate who formed WhatsApp groups to solicit cash for special posting to hospitals of the choice of any ‘customer’.

The syndicate headed by one ‘Moderator’ administered the WhatsApp groups. This is where he transacts the business by asking the prospective nurses who will start their service next month to pay to get their preferred hospitals to be posted to. While all this was going on under the auspices of the top men, the same vultures have released a press statement dated 9th March, 2018 paradoxically cautioning the public not to pay money for nurses postings. We have retrieved a chat from one of the WhatsApp groups administered by the Moderator whose contact is 024 339 7370.

One furious nurse expressed her disappointment and was masterfully replied in the retrieved conversation below:

Dear NSS,
This is what someone (your staff) is saying to us & I'm disappointed in all of you !!!

*ATTENTION*
*ATTENTION*
Those asking about where's *MODERATOR*
*Moderator* is here and shall always be available.

The *Press Release* is a step in the right direction.

We entirely share in its content.
Certainly, this is not the first time NSS is issuing such *Press Release*

In every Registration period, such *press release* is issued to warn against payment for Postings.

Google to see more of such *Press Releases* issued in the past

Moderator has never said the nss takes money for postings.

We have always maintained that, the NSS is against taking money for postings to *Hospital of Choice*

However, that also doesn't mean *Moderator's* help won't work.

*Those who have ears, let them hear*
All those talking about *Moderator,* should rather be worried about those fake people who are taking your monies.

Such fake people have the effrontery to describe *Moderator* as *imposter* and some of you follow them to circulate such nonsense.

Those who have trust in moderator shall never be disappointed

*Have a brilliant weekend!*”
The canny mode of operation is to pretend the scheme is against taking money for postings when in actual fact it was happening. Similar situations happened last year where the Deputy Executive Director, Henry Nana Boakye, (a.k.a Nana B) was found out to be involved in this scam with his boys whom he has sent to some regional offices of the scheme as volunteers to further control things. To ensure they gave value for money, Nana B ordered the staff of the scheme not to post anyone to lucrative places. These places of postings were reserved for his customers.

The current case is the same and the same Nana B is being fingered in addition to those who have joined after discovering people made so much from it and bought sleek luxurious cars from the business. The management was embroiled recently in an obnoxious insurance scam which failed spectacularly due to misunderstanding in sharing the loot from it.

Nana B is one of the New Patriotic Party National Youth Organizer contenders and is believed to be desperate for cash to run his campaign to arrest his falling fortunes in the race.

We have also heard the contract of the IT consultant for the scheme has not been renewed. An NPP insider has been given this consultant contract in order to keep any manipulation deals in the dark. Speculations in the grapevine in the Secretariat indicate the current acting head of IT is also being transferred out of the headquarters ahead of the major posting season coming up soon.
