New Herbal Products From Ekubanco Herbal Centre

Dr Ben Kofi Ekuban, the Chief Executive Officer of Ekubanco Herbal Research Centre and Clinic, has called on the Government to support herbal practitioners to enable them to export their products.

This, he said, would help them to generate revenue for themselves and earn foreign exchange for the country.

Dr Ekuban made the call at the launch of Ekubanco range of products at Madina in Accra on Tuesday.

The products are Ekubanco Megavite Immune Booster, Ekubanco Phrestress, Ekubanco Coenzyme Q10 Nerve Capsules and Ekubanco Organic Natural D. Colestate.

Dr Ekuban, who is also the Executive Director of the Ekubanco Herbal Research Centre and Clinic, said the Centre manufactured the products using herbs.

He said the clinic treated diseases such as stroke, Parkinson's, kidney, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer and anemia using fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Dr Ekuban, who had been honoured by the Bishop Bilson University and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, said the Centre, established some few years ago, had been offering treatment to patients in North America, Canada, Jamaica and other foreign countries.

He called on Ghanaians to seek medical attention from qualified health institutions at all times and also report their ailments early enough since diseases detected early cost less to treat.

Dr Ekuman urged the Government to support whoever comes out with medical product but must ensure the producer could prove its efficacy.

Ekubanco Herbal Research Centre and Clinic is a national volunteer organisation committed to reducing the burden of kidney, Cardiovascular Disease and free Dialysis treatment among other diseases.
